Allie Hampson

Instructor

Allie Hampson is a performer and choreographer from Jackson, Tennessee. She trained at Pat Brown School of Dancing and Glory Dance. She also danced with Ballet Arts of Jackson for nine years in their annual production of The Nutcracker and in their various spring productions.

After high school, Hampson continued her education in dance at Belhaven University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. She trained under faculty members, among others, Laura Morton from Milwaukee Ballet, Samantha Shelton from American Ballet Theatre, Ravenna Tucker Wagnon from The Royal Ballet, and Mia Whitehead from Ballet San Antonio. In her time at Belhaven, she has performed in fall and spring dance concerts. In addition to performing, she has choreographed works of her own at Belhaven such as “In Between the Lines” in the Emerging Choreographer’s Concert and “Assemble” in the Senior Dance Concert. She also co-choreographed a piece titled “What is Steampunk.” in the Collaborative Arts Concert.

Allie Hampson is a dance artist who values the power of storytelling through dance, and she is excited to be back at Pat Brown School of Dancing.
