About this Class
Our ballet program is for Kindergarten to adults. Classes include traditional barre and center exercise with correct posture and placement. Pointe work is added at teacher’s discretion. Ballet classes are beneficial to the mind, and self-discipline teaches analytical thinking, and is the basis for all forms of movement.

Dress Code Policy
In order to ensure maximum discipline and safety during classes, all students are required to adhere to the following dress code guidelines. This policy not only promotes professionalism but also aids instructors in providing effective guidance and corrections.
Personal Grooming
Jewelry and Hair: Remove rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, and loose earrings before class. Hair should be secured away from the face and neck to avoid distraction and ensure safety.
Eating and Chewing Gum: Students must refrain from chewing gum or eating during class to prevent choking hazards.
Fit of Clothing
Studio Logo Leotard: We now require all students to wear a Studio Logo Leotard purchased from PBSD. This ensures a snug fit that aids teachers in providing corrections and maintaining a uniform appearance.
Footwear Guidelines
Preferred Brands: Please avoid Wal-Mart brand shoes, as their quality may hinder proper technique assessment. We recommend Capezio brand footwear for its quality and suitability for dance.
Purchase from Studio: All required footwear can be purchased directly from the studio, ensuring personalized fitting and cost-effectiveness.
Replacing Shoes: Only purchase new shoes when necessary. Ensure they fit correctly rather than buying larger sizes to grow into.
