Jennifer Whitelaw
Master Teacher & Choreographer
Jennifer Whitelaw, a native of Jackson, TN, is a former student of Pat Brown. She pursued her classical ballet training at the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City before launching a diverse career in theater and performance.
In 2016, Jennifer joined the Brooklyn Follies for a production at the Grand Macao Hotel in Macao, China, where she also served as an assistant choreographer. Upon returning to New York, she became a regular presence on theater and club stages, continuing to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances.
Jennifer is excited to return to Pat Brown School of Dance, bringing her experience and passion to the next generation of dancers.

Andres Castillo
Master Teacher & Choreographer
Andrés Castillo, born in Cali, Colombia, began dancing when he was just 9 years old at INCOLBALLET. He worked hard for 8 years and, at 17, started performing with the professional company internationally. He danced all over the world with the Colombian Ballet Company, impressing audiences in countries like Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, and many others. In 2013, he decided to try his luck in the USA to grow as an artist. Since then, he’s had a successful career, performing with companies like Ballet San Antonio from 2015 to 2018 and, most recently, with the Alabama Ballet from 2018 to 2025. He has played important roles like Basilio in Don Quixote, the Cavalier in Balanchine’s Nutcracker®, Albrecht in Giselle and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, earning lots of praise. Andres’s 18-year journey as a professional dancer was filled with collaborations with talented choreographers and mentors like Annabel Lopez Ochoa, Amanda Mckerrow, John Gardner, Darla Hoover, Norbe Risco, Amy Fote, Juan Carlos Peñuela and more. He even received recognition from the American Guild of Musical Artists for his exceptional talent. His story is an inspiration in the world of dance, and he continues to make his mark.

Madison Ryan
Master Teacher & Choreographer
Madison Ryan, a Louisiana native, began her dance training at A Touch of Class Performing Arts under the direction of Lori Rayborn. She refined her technique through summer intensives with the Hammond Ballet Company, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet. Throughout her professional career, Madison has performed principal roles in iconic ballets, including Serenade and Western Symphony by George Balanchine, as well as Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Cinderella, and Giselle. Currently a principal dancer with Alabama Ballet, she has had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers and perform at international ballet festivals. In addition to her performing career, Madison is a dedicated educator, sharing her expertise with students at the Alabama Ballet School and teaching at institutions across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Lindsay Pierson Mains
Master Teacher & Choreographer
Lindsay Pierson Mains, is a master teacher and choreographer based in Nashville, TN. She began her training at Pat Brown School of Dancing and later joined Ballet Arts of Jackson under the direction of Pat Brown. She has dedicated the past 25 years to the study and instruction of dance.
At 18, Lindsay moved to Los Angeles, CA, to further her education in dance and launched her performing career with The Young Americans. As a member of their performing company, she traveled extensively across the United States and internationally, teaching and performing in Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea, and China. She later became a Staging Director for the company’s international tours.
Lindsay continued her career in Seattle, where she transitioned into ballet education, becoming a Ballet Director and choreographer for competitive teams, earning numerous accolades. Upon moving to Nashville, she took on roles as a consultant and rehearsal director for local companies. In 2020, she joined The School of Nashville Ballet, teaching in both the Academy and Community Youth departments.
Currently, Lindsay is a founding member of The Dance Process team, where she continues to serve as a master teacher and creator, a competition adjudicator, and the Ballet Director at Hermitage Dance Academy.
